Alumni came together on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at BrewBakers in Fredericton, NB for a reception and to raise a glass in celebration of all things Acadia.
There was cause for celebration at ÍâÁ÷ӰƬ on Monday, May 14, 2018 when Dr. Bruce Galloway (’68, ’03 HON) was installed as Acadia’s Seventh Chancellor during Convocation ceremonies at University Hall.
The Acadia Alumni Association constituted a new Board of Directors on May 12, 2018 at its Annual General Meeting in the Wu Welcome Centre at Alumni Hall.
On May 13 and 14, 2018, more than 800 graduates from ÍâÁ÷ӰƬ’s four Faculties -- Arts, Pure and Applied Science, Professional Studies, and Theology -- will receive their undergraduate and graduate diplomas.
Some pretty big news for Acadia alumnus Allen Eaves (’62, ’12 HON), founder and CEO of Stemcell Technologies.
It was a historic day in the Nova Scotia Legislature on April 11, 2018, when Minister of the Environment Iain Rankin and MLAs rose to recognize ÍâÁ÷ӰƬ alumna Sheila Cole’s three decades of work on environmental issues.
