Engineering

Engineering is a profession that solves problems with math and science. It does this by analyzing, designing, and managing technical projects.

Real-world problems, real-world solutions

The Ivan Curry School of Engineering at 外流影片 offers a uniquely personal start to your engineering journey. With small class sizes, approachable professors, and hands-on opportunities in design and prototyping, you鈥檒l get the kind of close support and mentorship that helps you take risks, build confidence, and excel.

You鈥檒l spend your 铿乺st two years in an intimate, high-quality program that gives you a strong foundation. Then students transition to a larger engineering school鈥攗sually Dalhousie鈥攚here you can choose from seven disciplines: Chemical, Civil, Computer, Environmental, Electrical, Industrial, and Mechanical.

Acadia offers 铿俥xible pathways to match your goals, from the two-year Certi铿乧ate of Applied Science (23 courses) to the three-year Bachelor of Applied Science (30 courses), or combined programs that pair engineering with a BSc in biology, chemistry, math, or physics. BASc graduates may also apply to Acadia鈥檚 School of Education. Whichever path you choose, you鈥檒l be well prepared for the next step toward becoming a professional engineer (P.Eng.).
