Applicants from Bermuda College

Acadia participates in an articulation agreement with Bermuda College. Students who have completed studies at Bermuda College may receive transfer credit. Students applying for transfer credit must include course descriptions of work completed to date with their application.

There are three program pathways, with different requirements.

Direct Entry (3-year, 8-semester) is intended for students coming directly from high school, or for mature students without university experience.
Advanced Standing (2-year, 6-semester) is for students who have previous university experience. Intake for this pathway is in September of each year, with the last intake in September 2027.
LPN to BScN Pathway (completion time may vary; typically 2 years): This route of entry is for applicants who are currently licensed as an LPN in Nova Scotia with a total of 1800 hours work experience as a licensed practical nurse within the last two years.

Minimum average of 70% (75% for Biology and Kinesiology)

Normally, one year of CEGEP study is considered equivalent to Nova Scotia Grade 12 for admission purposes. Students who complete the two-year CEGEP program with a 70% average and receive the DEC will be admitted to the second year of a four-year program. Exceptions may be made for very capable Quebec Secondary V applicants.

外流影片 Guidelines for International Baccalaureate Students

The IB Diploma is accepted as a credential for admission to degree programs. IB final and predicted results may be used to consider applicants for both early fall and regular admission, as well as entrance scholarship.

IB Diploma including IB English with an overall score of 24 or better.
Students admitted to 外流影片 with a score of 30 or higher on the IB Diploma will receive 30 hours of university credit.
Students who have completed IB courses but do not possess the Diploma will be considered based on their coursework. Acadia gives individual credit for IB courses completed at the higher level with grades of 5, 6 or 7.

Courses required for admission to certain programs (see "Specific program admission guidelines" below) must be completed with a 4 or better.
