Acquisition of Language
This course is foundational. The focus is on how language is acquired. There will be a sociological and a psychological analysis of language acquisition. Semantics, syntax, phonology and pragmatics will be explored. This course is required in the TESOL Certificate program. It is cross-listed as EDUC 5183.
