AUSOM Concert & Lecture Series: Derek Charke & Norm Adams

On Thursday, January 23, the Acadia School of Music Concert & Lecture Series presents a performance by The Adams Charke Exchange.
The Adams Charke Exchange is an improvising duo consisting of Norman Adams (cello) and Derek Charke (flutes). Together they have been working as collaborators for many years. They will present 鈥淚slands鈥�, a newly created work (sponsored by the Acadia Research Funds) that explores the nature and profundity of improvisation between performer/creators. They will also perform 鈥淭he Engine Continuum鈥� by Charke, and 鈥淟es Folies d'Espagne鈥� by Marin Marais.
