Alumni and friends are invited back to the Acadia campus October 16-18 for Homecoming 2015.

There is a full schedule of events, including an exhibit featuring the work of internationally acclaimed artist David Silverberg; Acadia Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremonies; a free Associated Alumni-sponsored Backyard Barbecue at the Wu Welcome Centre in Alumni Hall; varsity football vs. Mt. A. at Raymond Field; and the Coaches鈥� Roast, where four legendary Acadia football coaches 鈥� Bob Vespaziani, John Huard, Sonny Wolfe and current head coach Jeff Cummins 鈥� come together for an unprecedented evening of memories and magic.

Men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 varsity soccer, men鈥檚 hockey and women鈥檚 rugby will also be showcased, and returning alumni can enjoy Sunday Music in the Garden Room, a Chapel Service featuring guest speaker and Acadia professor Dr. John Murimboh, Sydstock in the Axe Lounge, campus tours, and a variety of community events, including the Wolfville Farmers鈥� Market and the Magic Winery Bus Tour. Homecoming has been celebrated every year since 1963 and the Associated Alumni, which numbers more than 27,000 active alumni, has utilized Homecoming as a way to encourage graduates to return to Acadia and get involved.

Associated Alumni President Doug Jackson (鈥�99) says, 鈥渢he Office of Alumni Affairs at Acadia, working in conjunction with members of the Board of the Associated Alumni, has put together another outstanding lineup for Homecoming 2015. There is certainly something for everyone and I encourage all members of our alumni community to come out and join us as we celebrate this great institution and all it has given us.
