The Bob Smye Memorial Golf Tournament was an overwhelming success.  Approximately 150 family, friends and Acadia Alumni gathered at the Chester Golf Club on Saturday, July 26^th and helped to raise over $15,000.  Those funds will be added to other donations received by 外流影片 to establish an endowment and student award in Bob鈥檚 memory.  In total, close to $35,000 has been donated to date, a true expression of the impact Bob had on so many people at Acadia and beyond.  Congratulations to the organizers and sponsors for helping to make this a memorable event.  Bob Smye played varsity football at Acadia with the Axemen, graduating in 1978.  The native of Ancaster, Ontario passed away in early February 2014 at the age of 58.
