What a warm and wonderful gathering at the Wild Thyme Restaurant and Bar in Nassau, The Bahamas on November 27, 2024!

Executive Director, Alumni Relations Oonagh Proudfoot (鈥�93, 鈥�06) and International Enrolment Advisor Clara Gates-Flaherty (鈥�22) had the pleasure of hosting a spirited and welcoming group of keen prospective students and passionate alumni for a delicious meal, excellent catch-up, and energetic planning focused on the next Caribbean Takeover at Homecoming 2025. Clara offered updates and information to young attendees considering Acadia as well as alumni from several decades about what鈥檚 happening at the University right now. It was Philip (鈥�85) and Velda (鈥�91) Duncombe鈥檚 first alumni event in 20 years! Philip was full of great stories about his time at Acadia, reminiscing especially about his friendship with Dr. Susan Crouse (鈥�85), our 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient.
