外流影片 and the union representing its support staff, the Service Employees International Union Local 2, have ratified the terms of a new, three-year collective agreement effective July 1, 2011 and ending June 30, 2014. Members of the Union and the University鈥檚 Board of Governors have voted in favour of accepting the new agreement.

鈥淣egotiators from both bargaining teams need to be congratulated for reaching a settlement through collective bargaining that achieved our common goals,鈥� said Paul Jewer, Chair of Acadia鈥檚 Board of Governors. 鈥淎cadia鈥檚 administrative, support, and technical staff are important partners in Acadia鈥檚 overall efforts to strengthen its reputation for quality service to students.鈥�

This three-year agreement provides certainty to both our campus community and to individual SEIU members over the life of the contract.
